I would like to see special schools focussing more on those students who really need them, and who genuinely couldn’t cope in a mainstream school. I would also like to see special and mainstream schools working together more. Both types of school have a lot to offer to all students, not only in terms of teaching and learning, but there are also great benefits in helping us all to understand the needs of others.
