That’s quite a difficult question, because I think my love of the countryside is instinctive. I’ve never really questioned why – I just know I do. It’s something to do with being able to relax and enjoy the scenery, of course, but it’s also to do with a slowing down, with not feeling hemmed in by buildings and traffic. We’re so lucky in Buckinghamshire to have a mix of town and countryside, but I’m not a city girl and never have been.
